HDHMR Board means High Density High Moisture Resistant Board. It is a strong, smooth and moisture-resistant engineered board used for premium modular furniture, wardrobes, kitchen shutters, wall cabinets, TV units, crockery units, partitions, office furniture and full home interior projects. HDHMR has a dense core and smooth surface, so it gives a clean factory-finished outlook with laminate, acrylic, PU paint, veneer or membrane finish.

At Eurostar Kitchen & Interiors, we use HDHMR board where customers need a modern look, good strength, smooth finishing and better moisture resistance than normal MDF. It is suitable for wardrobe shutters, kitchen shutters, overhead cabinets, wall panels, study units, TV units and bedroom interiors. For heavy wet areas like sink base cabinets, we normally suggest BWP 710 plywood or WPC board depending on budget and requirement.

HDHMR gives a premium, seamless and designer look after machine cutting, edge banding and factory pressing. It is best for high-gloss laminate, acrylic finish, matte finish and CNC routing designs. Action TESA says HDHMR stands for High Density High Moisture Resistant, and its HDHMR board density is over 850 kg/m³, making it compact and suitable for routing work. Greenply also describes HDHMR as useful for moisture-exposed conditions and suitable for cabinet and wardrobe shutters.
